Frightening video shows SUV stolen with woman's 2-year-old inside

A car thief in Northeast Philadelphia stole a woman's SUV Wednesday morning while her 2-year-old toddler was inside the vehicle.
The mother was delivering Amazon packages and kept the vehicle’s key fob with her, causing the SUV to probably shut off after it had traveled a certain distance.
A neighbor recorded the mother’s frantic screams as the thief drove away with her child, and later, aerial footage revealed the toddler safely back with her distressed father.
Authorities obtained fingerprint evidence from the vehicle and aim to identify the suspect, while medical personnel assessed the 2-year-old, who is reported to be in stable condition.
Neighbors called the incident very scary and unusual for the area, and family and community members expressed relief and gratitude that the child was unharmed after the shocking event.
